Dean Ledford, 25, Loved Working with Saline's Football Team

Dean C. Ledford, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

He was born on June 12, 1987 in Ann Arbor, the son of Dean Allan and Mary Ellen (McCann) Ledford.

Dean loved the Lord and devoted his life to him. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, basketball, working out and cooking. He had a passion for sports and loved coaching and working with the Saline School’s Football team. Dean graduated from Northwood University in 2010 and was planning on going back to school to become a teacher.

He is survived by his parents, siblings Adam (Tracy) Ledford and Chelsea Ledford, grandparents Hugh McCann and Tom and Arlyn Ledford and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Joslyn McCann and his uncle Gregory T. McCann.

Viewing will be at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home, 301 E. Michigan Ave., Saline, on Monday, July 16, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Saline First Assembly of God, 300 Old Creek Dr., Saline,, with the Rev. Michael Johnson officiating, with a viewing at 10 a.m.
