Boy, 16, Leads Saline Police on High-Speed Chase
The teen's joy ride ended after crashing his pickup truck into a ditch near Johnson Road.
A 16-year-old Saline teenager was arrested after leading police on a chase through city streets, unplowed and icy dirt roads and fields early Friday morning.
According to the Saline Post, the chase ended when the teen crashed his pickup truck into a ditch. The driver, his 15-year-old girlfriend and her 13-year-old friend, were uninjured.
According to the Post, the teen faces several charges, including fleeing and eluding, driving with an improper plate, and violation of a restricted driver's license.
